The Philanthropy Workshop West at a Glance

DATE: TPW West conducts one workshop a year, which consists of four sessions including one international trip. For the current year's dates, please find enclosed insert.

LOCATION: Typically, the first and fourth sessions take place in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. The remaining sessions are held in Washington D.C. and in a developing country.

COHORT: TPW West makes every attempt to limit the number in each cohort to 12-15 participants. The small group size allows for individualized attention and relationship building within the group.

COST:Tuition in 2008 is $25,000. This tuition does not include participant travel and miscellaneous expenses. Each participant is also expected to make a $5,000 contribution toward a collective grant following the international module.

APPLICATION: The process consists of a written application and an interview.
