The Philanthropy Workshop West at a Glance

DATE TPW West conducts one workshop a year, which consists of four sessions including one international trip. For the current year's dates, please click on Program Dates.

LOCATION Typically, the first and fourth sessions take place in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. The remaining sessions are held in Washington, D.C. and in a developing country.

COHORT TPW West makes every attempt to limit the number in each cohort to approximately 15 participants. The small group size allows for individualized attention and relationship building within the group.

COST Tuition to participate in the 2010-2011 class is $25,000. This tuition does not include participant travel and miscellaneous expenses. Each participant is also expected to make a $5,000 contribution toward a collective grant following the international module.

APPLICATION The process consists of a written application and an interview.
