APPLYING TO TPW WEST
Everyone is welcome to apply to TPW West Network by entering through our internationally recognized Cohort program. Admission into the Network requires completion and submission of an application. We recommend that qualified applicants meet with a current member of TPW West and with the executive director in advance of applying, however this is not a requirement.
Following submission of your application to TPW West, we will inform you as to the status of candidacy.
ADMISSION TO TPW WEST IS BASED ON THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES
• An eagerness to find new ways to expand and strengthen your philanthropy.
• Demonstration of the following qualities: risk-taking, willingness to collaborate, respect for others'
vision and ideas, and a good sense of humor.
• A desire to participate actively in a growing network of catalytic philanthropists with opportunities for
collaboration, life-long learning and increased impact.
Applications are accepted on a rolling admissions basis until there is a cohort of 12 - 15
participants. Due to the limited size of the cohort, applicants are encouraged to apply as early as
possible. A non-refundable deposit is required upon your acceptance to TPW West.
TUITION
Annual tuition for the 2011 Cohort 10 program is $32,000 and does not include airfare, hotels, and other costs. Other
out-of-pocket expenses will be charged for meals and transportation during cohort weeks.
Additionally, we create subgroups within each cohort that are responsible for executing a group project by the end of the year. We require each member to contribute a minimum $5,000 to a pooled grant with the members of your group.
For further details on tuition and other costs associated with the program, please contact Glen Galaich.
