The Program

The course consists of four separate sessions held over the course of a year. Participants will be given preparatory and follow-up assignments between the sessions. Hewlett and TOSA Foundations will facilitate the course in collaboration with leading organizations and individuals in the non-profit sector, foundation officers, and active philanthropists.

Individuals who complete the course can expect the following:

• An understanding of how to develop strategic approaches to philanthropy that are innovative and creative;

• Exposure to the non-profit sector: its role in society and how philanthropy can best support it;
