Christine E. Sherry

Christine E. Sherry has served as the Director of the Philanthropy Workshop West since its inception. Through the TPW-West program, Ms. Sherry has been coaching a select cadre of donors who are seriously committed to becoming more effective, strategic, and global in their philanthropy. Previously, Ms. Sherry was Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of SRI International, one of the world's largest nonprofit scientific research organizations, located in Menlo Park, California. In that capacity, she had overall responsibility for the legal affairs of SRI.

Ms. Sherry managed the daily legal operations of SRI, served as an officer of several of SRI's emerging companies, and actively participated in SRI's Ventures and Licensing Board, which reviewed proposals for internal and external venture funding.
